One of the sisters, Hitomi is even dating police detective Toshio Utsumi, who is always involved in any Cat's Eye thefts. Will he ever get a clue that his cute girlfriend just might be involved in the burglary team that he is dedicated to catching?

The series is action packed, and really fun to watch. All the characters such as Holmes, Watson, Mrs. Hudson, and Prof. Moriarty were made into dogs. Holmes is a lot younger and more active than in the novels (he drives a car and does a lot of car chases). Mrs. Hudson, now a 19 year old widow, gets a piece of the action.

Tatsuya and Kazuya are identical twins yet their personallities are very different. They have grown together with girl from their neighbor, Asakura Minami, and since they are of same age and, when very young, had tendency to break things, their parents built them a house in place of where the wall was. Kazuya has grown up as model student and baseball pitcher and is very fond of Minami who acts as comrade to him and like a mother to Tatsuya, a classic Terius figure.
