A collection of shorts by Katsuhiro Otomo. The first, Magnetic Rose, is about a group of space salvagers who respond to a distress call and find a lavish space mansion. The second, Stink Bomb, is about a young man who takes an experimental cold pill, and becomes a living disaster as his body exudes an odious green cloud. The last is "Cannon Fodder," about a boy who lives out his life in a vaguely Orwellian world, fighting a distant, invisible, enemy. |

Lina dispatches some bandits only to have them hire Naga the Serpent (or Nahga as ADV spells it), a magic user with a giant chest and little in the way of clothing. This self-proclaimed rival of Lina's quickly changes sides, then gets Lina to go on a free trip (with plenty of decent food) to the island of Mipross to go to a 5-star hotspring. Soon, the duo find themselves caught up in kingdom with many troubles with thugs on one hand, theives on the other, and the mysterious Roudy invading their dreams. The demon Joylock has returned and Roudy needs Lina to help defeat this demon. |

Fifth-grader Toriyasu and his little sister Meeko have a dog named Papadoll, who has been missing for the past week. One night, two cats take the two children to the distant cat land of Banipal Witt, where Papadoll was abducted. Because of his long exposure to Banipal Witt`s sun, Papadoll mutated into a giant dog monster, terrorizing the city under the control of the evil Princess Buburina, who has the curse of turning anyone she touches into balloons. Toriyasu, Meeko and the cats have until the next sunrise to turn Papadoll and the ballooned citizens of Banipal Witt back to normal and return to their home planet - or end up with the same fate as their dog. |
