2001/Slice of Life/TV Titles

Mayuko Chigasaki is a young woman struggling to make it in life. Early every morning, she delivers newspapers in her small town of Enohana. She attends a cram school in Tokyo by day, taking the bus and the train to get there. After school, she works at a local small eating establishment where she is the delivery girl. In the evenings, she works at the local (old) bath house in exchange for living in a small room above the facility. So in addition to school, she has three part-time jobs.

Natsumi, Miyuki, and the rest of the Bokuto precinct are back for a second TV series. Joining the cast is Saga Saori-chan. She was the high school girl in the first TV series who decided to become a cop after meeting Natsumi and Miyuki. Now she is one and she's ready to tackle crime where ever she sees it. And she doesn't much care for the slacker attitude she sees at the Bokuto Station. But then she hasn't had to deal with the likes of "Scooter Mama" or "Strike Man". Can Miyuki and Natsumi teach her everything about being a cop? Will Natsumi and Toukarin continue their relationship despite his return to the mountains? Will Nakajima-kun and Miyuki ever get their relationship off the ground or will Miyuki find comfort in the arms of another man?
