Koushiro has lost his way in life. His steady girlfriend broke up with him because their relationship was not going anywhere and she tell him that she has fallen out of love with him, and his job at a dating service was not bringing him any measure of happiness. During his commute home, he sees a high school student on the train, and feels a strange spark of connection. The next day they happen to meet again, he approaches her and asks to spend some time together. In an amusement park, they spend some time and talk, where Koushiro finds himself opening up to her, shedding tears at the memories of his broken heart, and where he finds himself being comforted by her.

Fuu-chan is working as a waitress in a tea shop in the era of the samurai in Japan. She meets Mugen, a strange samurai warrior who looks like he's break dancing when he fights. For 100 dumplings, he agrees to help her when some local thugs, who work for the magistrate's sone, try to cut off her finger.
