OVA: (Type) OVA = Original Video Animation. These are the direct-to-video anime titles done in Japan. Often, OVAs can start a franchise (Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki), start a TV series (Mahou Tsukai Tai!), be a sequel to a TV series (Love Hina Again), or be a stand-alone title (Aa! Megami-sama! OVA). Sometimes, the OAVs are named the same as the TV series and thus will sometimes have the term OVA listed after the title's name to separate it.

To this end, Asuna, Setsuna, Konoka, Nodoka, Yue, Paru, Chisame, Chachamaru, Asakura, Sayo, Ku Fei, and Kaede have trained at Eva's resort (Eva being honorary adviser and Negi being the teacher-sponsor). Eva doesn't like "Negima-dan" as the name of the club, and so names it "Shiroki Tsubasa" -- Japanese for "White Wing" (the Latin being "Ala Alba"). Now it is summer and that means a summer festival (with a test from Eva), a time at the beach (where Negi's childhood friend Anya comes to visit), followed by a trip to an onsen for some fun before their trip to Wales. |
