The story begins when high school student Mutou Kazuki is killed one night saving a mysterious girl from a monster, only to wake up and find it was only a dream. However, he soon finds out how real that dream was when a giant serpentine monster attacks him and his sister. Tsumura Tokiko, the girl from his dream, explains that the monster is a homunculus. Kazuki had been attacked and killed by it when rescuing Tokiko, however the girl revived him by placing a kakugane in his chest. |

Tsutomu goes out for some fresh air, after a hard day's work studying for a big test, when he runs into a guy fleeing from a pretty young lady. The pursued man is actually an interplanetary criminal on the run from a Federation agent called Birdy Cephon Altera. Caught in the midst of this chase, Tsutomu gets thrown by the man at Birdy, which kills Tsutomu. Fortunately for Tsutomu, there is a way to keep him alive, although it comes at the price of discarding his body. He ends up merged into Birdy's body. |

After Ataru's mother, Moroboshi-san, recaps the first 21 episodes of Urusei Yatsura, Ataru and his class go on a field trip to visit historical places in Japan (Golden Temple and more). A kunoichi (female ninja) named Kaede accidently loses a secret document and her master demands she find it. As it happens, Ataru discovers is, thus Kaede must pursue him in order to gain the scroll. Because she's so nice, she doesn't just take it from him. As such, Ataru assumes she has feelings for him. Unfortunately for him, Lum-chan has rented a school uniform and has been tagging along to make sure he doesn't stray. Will Kaede regain the scroll? Will Ataru kiss Kaede? Will anyone survive Lum-chan? |
