Yoshimune This series very much reminds me of Gintama in that it delights in freely mixing the old world Japan with the current high-tech Japan. While the animation is good, the storyline is stilted to appeal to the very young adult crowd (eight to twelve year olds) who are apt to overlook the simplistic plot, storyline inconsistencies and recycled scenes. All of the characters are short and drawn very kawaii (or cute) to make them appear less threatening and more comic - all designed to appeal to the targeted audience.
