In a future time, the lowest ranked baseball team in the league, Karumgamo High School, decides to pool their money to buy a baseball robot, (which is allowed under the rules.) With what little money they had, they could not afford a special baseball robot, and Haruhei had to accept buying a very old model domestic assistant robot named Azusa. It turns out that Azusa has never heard of the game of baseball, but she is always willing to help. Her ability to learn and her success as the pitcher of the team changes the Karugamo Baseball team for the better. |

Kabaykawa Sena has always been looked after by Mamori-neechan (his older sister) and with her help, he was able to pass the entrance exam for the high school that she is currenlty attending. Being smaller in size, Sena has always been bullied by other students and his new school is no different. One day, while trying to escape from three school bullies, he shows an incredible ability in running and dodging through a crowd, which is noticed by one of his fellow schoolmates. Sena finds himself forcibly recruited to play on the high school’s (American) football team as a running back. Kunimi Hiro is a high school student, who is forced to give up his ambitions as a professional baseball player due to a serious injury. One of the greatest Go players in history, Fujiwarano Sai, has been trapped inside a goban (a traditional Go board) for hundreds of years. A young boy, Shindo Hikaru, has the power to free Sai, and by doing so, opens a spot in his mind for Sai to stay. As Sai is a spirit (or ghost) visible only to Hikaru, they find themselves strangely bound together. With very little in common, Sai urges him to attend various Go clubs to permit them to play against strong opponents and begins to teach Hikaru how to play Go. And slowly Hikaru becomes drawn into the strange world of competitive Go. Hikaru accepts Touya Akira as a rival and sets his goals on becoming good enough to defeat him, while Sai wishes only to attain skills for the ultimate Go-play, a move called "The Hand of God." |
