OVA: (Type) OVA = Original Video Animation. These are the direct-to-video anime titles done in Japan. Often, OVAs can start a franchise (Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki), start a TV series (Mahou Tsukai Tai!), be a sequel to a TV series (Love Hina Again), or be a stand-alone title (Aa! Megami-sama! OVA). Sometimes, the OAVs are named the same as the TV series and thus will sometimes have the term OVA listed after the title's name to separate it.
Sci-Fi: (Setting) Self-explanatory. Anime of this category should contain Science-Fiction elements.

Watch | In a future networked world, the option of existing in the virtual network world rivals the real world (or wired reality). The hacker group known as SteppenWolf have decided on one final hack-attack before disbanding and have set their sights on attacking FLAK, the UN Cyber Security Bureau’s servers. And everything went very wrong. Their leader, Nonomura Yuuya was killed in the cyberworld, and while the remaining three hackers succeed in jacking-out, they returned only to be arrested by the army. One of the STEPPENWOLF team, Soma Toru finds himself forcibly recruited into FLAK as an anti-hacking 'diver'. While working for the ‘otherside’, Toru still harbors strong resentments at those who killed Yuuya. But the ongoing battle and competing agendas between FLAK, the VSS security enterprise and the FEI DAO terrorist group appear to be converging on a single point in cyberspace. |

In the year 2808, three criminals are offered a choice: Spend the rest of their lives aboard a maximum-security orbital prison, or return to Earth as agents of the Cyber Police. Parole violations will be rare as each criminal is fitted with a booby trapped, high-explosive collar which operates on a 24-hour timer. If ever a check-in is missed, the consequences would be...gruesome. For every criminal caught, the agents recieve a "bounty" that reduces their total sentence, so some day they may walk free again. |
