Horror: (Genre) Self-explanatory.
OVA: (Type) OVA = Original Video Animation. These are the direct-to-video anime titles done in Japan. Often, OVAs can start a franchise (Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki), start a TV series (Mahou Tsukai Tai!), be a sequel to a TV series (Love Hina Again), or be a stand-alone title (Aa! Megami-sama! OVA). Sometimes, the OAVs are named the same as the TV series and thus will sometimes have the term OVA listed after the title's name to separate it.

The survivors endure a reign of terror under the "Slum Lord" and his barbaric underlings. The common people's only hope is the mysterious "Violence Jack", a hulking figure prone to horrifying acts of violence, but apparently only upon the Slum Lord's people. "The muscles of a gorilla! The fangs of a wolf! Eyes that burned with primordial fire! Wherever Jack goes, the scent of death fills the air behind him"... |
