Akuma, born from dead souls forcefully recalled to the living world, by their grieving loved ones, are turned into the weapons of the Millennium Earl, hence 'akuma'. Since childhood, Allen Walker has been cursed with an anti-Akuma weapon on his left arm and an eye that sees the former soul of the Akuma. He is also one of the few who contain "Innocence", a substance that allows him to kill Akuma and fight the Earl. Tasuke-kun, an ordinary teenager who while living alone, finds himself in the company of two cute Shugotten (spirits) who have taken it upon themselves to ‘protect’ him. In addition to living with the two spirits, Ruuan (the wood spirit) has somehow become his homeroom teacher at middle school and Shaorin (a spirit of the moon) is now a fellow student in his homeroom class. If only to complicate the situation, most of Tasuke's classmates have set their romantic interests on either him or his spirit companions. And then his father sends him a special gift from China, which included a magic fan with yet another spirit. But Tasuke has always harbored special feelings for Shaorin and slowly their friendship grows amidst the strange magic and chaos of their lives. . |

Yet she volunteers to do fieldwork on the local history of the town she lives in, and chooses to do the legend story of a miko named Uraha, a palace guard named Ryuuya, and the princess held captive at that palace named Kannabi no Mikoto (Kanna). At the same time, a drifter named Kunisaki Yukito-san comes to town with his small puppet, with which he can make it magically move. Drawn by fate, Yukito-san ends up assisting Misuzu with her fieldwork and the two fall in love, following a similar patter as Ryuuya and Kanna did many centuries before. |
