Takamachi Nanoha is a 3rd grader elementary school girl, who lives with her parents and her older sister and brother (last seen in Triangle Heart). One day after school, she hears a voice in mind, which leads her to rescue a small animal (a ferret?) in the forest. The animal is actually an archeologist-mage from another world, named Yuuno-kun, who is attempting recover 21 dangerous Jewels Seeds that are scattered across the Earth.
