Though nothing more than a lowly messenger, he nevertheless repeatedly distinguishes himself (completely by accident), leading to promotions and increasing responsibility. | |

| One time military history geeks like myself may recognize Tiger tanks, Val dive bombers, Grumman Hellcats, Huey helicopters, plus Japanese, French, German and British uniforms. Though fairly amusing, I didn't notice any particularly convincing anti-war message. Surely the funniest moment must have been when a certain USO performer steps off a helicopter before an audience of soldiers (this character hasn't gotten enough use in the series!). | |
