| Mr. Lee is pleased with Nenene's new novel, and would like it to be finished in four months to coincide with the release in Japan of the movie based on her earlier work, "Liberation Zone". He asks Nenene to make another trip to Hong Kong for the movie's debut there--and to return the sisters home permanently. Anita says goodbye to Junior, then returns the secret book from the library to (I'm guessing) the guy who got shot there. But just after she leaves, Junior pops out of the wall and he keels. Carpenter is presented the book. Only one book is still needed for his scheme, and he tells Junior that thanks to his efforts, "everyone is going to be saved". He seems to be hoping that Yomiko will turn up, and that Nenene will be the "key" to finding her... | |

I really hope this books-with-strange-t Just guessing here, but I wonder if Carpenter might be trying to use some captured technology from the OVA series for his own purposes. | |
