Crying Freeman Art wise, it is alright, even for when it was made, it was just alright...nudity, and some explicit scenes... sure...but this actually has a story...a story about a pottery maker and his rise to power in a crime syndicate...although not for everyone, if you want an adult anime, with some action, the story alone should hold you over to complete the series. Also i feel the art regresses as the story went along...but again, you would watch this for a good story, not art... Last updated Monday, January 07 2008.

Crying Freeman At first, I was highly skeptical of this title. I thought that this was going to be some weird anime which would lose me from the very start. I watched it from the beginning and I couldn't stop! The story itself is about the rise of an assassin and how he evolved from being a ruthless, cold-blooded killer to the top man of the 108 Dragons. The animation was pretty tight along with the fight scenes. There are a lot of scenes that involve sex and a whole lot of nudity. This is a series some may disregard for its lewdness. If you can get past that, the story is what makes CF a great series. I highly recommend this title if you are a fan of Streamline Pictures. Even if your not, this is a series to keep.
