it's a bit better than the last season, there's more variety in the episodes and we get to know more about Ai's assistants. But some of the stories are unreasonable. In one, a mother completely broke down because of her son's death, and was still in love with her son (like motherly love), so her daughter sent her to hell because she thought her mom was selfish. Well, there are good eps too.
The ending is sad, but the bit when the girl opens her cell phone and it says that her 'request has been accepted' ruined it. Nevertheless, it was a great ending for a crazy anime. I wonder how the grandma looks like?

things pretty much pick up where the first ended. the formula seems the same so far, but the stories this season are pretty tragic, and some are even more twisted. the new character serves a kawaii/comedy factor for most of the series and we never really get an explanation for her, we're just meant to draw our own conclusions. enma ai's servants play a larger role than last season though ai herself is as emotionless as ever. we get to see their backgrounds and they spend a lot more time as people than as dolls and thusly we see their personalities more. I like this season better for that single (or triple ^_^) factor. the end deals with history repeating itself and the tragic (or happy? you decide) ending of enma ai. heh, it's always worth sitting through the beginning episodes to see the ending episodes. that was some messed up shit right there.
