Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou: Tou you'll either love this series, or hate it, what with the non-linear storytelling. i had to watch it a second time and right oh, episode 01 starts present day, episode 02 starts at the beginning 2 months back, and episode 03 starts present day again. and yea, really pay attention or you'll be confused. they like to flash back and forth between present and past without warning. it gets easier to tell as the series goes on. but anyway, the plot is pretty clear so it shouldn't be a problem. the opening episode is fantastic, quite riveting. the violin solo blows me away. everything else...the fighting is amazing, as is the magic. the art style is pretty good. the relationships and characters are fantastically developed for 14 episodes. guest characters are even interesting. the op and ed..rocks, heh. there are little moments of humor that i love, lol, with tatsuma and his straight face. animation and quality for episode 14 is crap. *sigh. and oh yea, kyouichi can kiss my ass(he's gay, i swear.). i'm all for aoi/tatsuma. a violently fast paced, action packed supernatural story of epic proportions. definitely recommended.
