Heroic Age

(the 3rd episode is out)

A slow but interesting first episode. And it only gets better. Just be certain to watch the opening scene of each episode (perhaps twice, just incase you missed something).

This a high-tech mecha series with great animation that is certain to placate any withdrawal symptoms now that Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch has finished up. And if you are a Gundam fan, then you should probably check this new series out.

In episode 2 - The princess mentions the 12 labors (or terms) set forth by the Gold Tribe under which AGE/Nodoss is to assist the Iron Tribe (or humanity).

The conditions of the contract are as follows:

• 1: Serve the owner of the contract as king
• 2: Serve the king and never try to be king
• 3: Get back the Earth, the home planet of Humanity, called the Iron Race
• 4: Fight and defeat the remaining survivors of the Heroic Race
• 5: Conquer the home planet of the Bronze Race
• 6: Conquer the home planet of the Silver Race
• 7: Give Humanity the power to see the future as the Golden Race could
• 8: Give Humanity the ability to create stars and planets as the Golden Race could
• 9: Make Humanity the supreme rulers of the universe
• 10: Until the conditions of the contract are met, to protect the owner of the contract
• 11: Until the conditions of the contract are met, to not run or die
• 12: When all the 11 conditions are met, the contractor’s desire will be met as long as it doesn’t go against the 10th condition

With so many fun scenes to choose from, I found myself hard pressed to select a few snaps to share.
