watching now... 6 eps watched... Oh my God, this title is freakishly funny! I know i'm going to love this one. Ep 2 was about nothing but breasts (^_^). 1 + 1 = 3 (?) and a large bust size = bad math skills (?). This title is going to be great! I loved how Kogarashi tried to teach Naeka math and he kept beating her a** with that paper fan. He was slapping the heck out of her and I laughed until my eyes began to water! Ep 3 was insane. This title is absolutely hilarious! She gets a love letter and all hell breaks lose in the house as Kogarashi (Koga from now on) and Fubuki try different methods to ease her heart of a twisted past with men. The next ep is labeled "Thong and Big Breasts"! Need I say more... LOL Ep 4 was great. X-ray vision is the greatest power in existence. Koga was scanning and stealing panties all episode! It was hilarious. I can't go 10 seconds without seeing breasts or panties with this title. The maid guy Koga is a "G" for life and the new girl, Liz, is going to increase the laughs 1000 times over. Ep 5 is the reason why this show is so funny overall. The whole ep was great to watch as it never tried to out do itself (try to be more than it needs to be) and this is the overall essence of the show. Koga must protect Naeka from her enemies and this episode featured many thieves who would try to steal Naeka's underwear (male and female thieves). Liz's konoichi (female ninja) maids make a valliant attempt at gathering info on Naeka but soon realize that they are no match for Koga, the maid guy! He told them as they fought that he has 37 senses instead of the normal 5 and losing 3 is nothing to him! Brilliant episode and I laughed for the entire 24 minutes and 29 seconds! This is a very "easy-to-watch" show and i'm loving it. Ep 6 was weight lose time and Naeka is in charge. She controls the house like a boot camp and forces everyone to lose weight with her (if they need it or not). Koga can’t be bothered with this event so he sits this one out though he thinks that if the ladies want to lose weight, they should just shrink some of that "sag of flab" on their chests. Fubuki gets sick and runs a fever during the training. Naeka becomes the maid and tries to cure her while Koga goes to Mount Fuji to get healing herbs. There was a small story about Naeka and her sick mother. Solid laughs through the whole ep again! Check out my award list to see some of the best anime titles in the world! Never forget Xenosaga. (Watch+ or Rent-) (All episodes watched): Sort of like Full Metal Panic ~Fumoffu~ meets Hayate no Gotoku!. Butlers are often expected to double as bodyguards apparently, so why not maids, too? And why not give this role priority and assign an incredible muscle man to it? Unfortunately, like Souseke this guy is rather naive about everyday life for a teenage girl. At least that's the impression I got from episode one; it took me awhile to "get" this premise. I had high hopes for this show, which seemed one of the likely stars of the season, and for the most part was satisfied with the results. Still, it wasn't all I had hoped for. It seems kind of rough around the edges, though; the plot bounces back and forth and I often don't know whether to be amused or confused. Episode two seemed to be an improvement as all of the jokes contributed to the episodic plot and as a result it made a good deal more sense. This series as a whole is a lot of fun although the episodes are a blurr in my memory before long. There doesn't seem to be much of a longterm plot other than the countdown to Naeka reaching inheritance age. Kamen no Maid Guy seems to be considered a massive disappointment by many critics. However, while it wasn't everything I'd been expecting, I still find it a credibly amusing show which I would look forward to new episodes of. Jougarashi himself is by far the most fun character, as he should be; I wish more emphasis was placed on him than the others. Now, if only the comedy were a little less borderline ecchi; there are far, far too many breast jokes, which aren't particularly funny to begin with yet return time after time. As a result, I think it has just a slight touch of sleaziness to it which taints the overall taste. Go see how ecchi should be handled in Zettai Karen Children. I can't help feeling that although KnMG is modestly entertaining, an unusual and clever premise wasn't exploited to it's full potential here. Catch Naeka's montage at Kendo Girl Scrapbook! Analysis : 10 Fansubs Watched
So far this is a great little series. It doesn't try to make itself any more than it is, a dude who likes to wear a skirt and has tons of super powers! This series is subbed very slowly, but is absolutely funny! And in Episode 10 it wasn't the Maid Guy's fault but he still gets pummeled. Last updated Friday, August 15 2008.
