Humm ….. Did someone put magic-mushrooms in the Miso soup at Studio Ghibli and allow the animation team to 'trip-out' over a coffee-table picture book of Impressionistic paintings? No, apparently not. There is a surrealist artist named Naohisa Inoue who created reference and background art for the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart. Well, the Ghibli team decided to devote their anime-magic to create a 30-minute art-collage to honor Naohisa’s work. Expect a series of minimally animated impressionist/surrea Very impressive and well worth watching, but only if you are the type of person inclined to visit museums or someone who thinks of the Lourve whenever the word 'Paris' is mentioned.
