First Loves 2
First Loves 2 is actually watchable once you get past the rather pornographic content. Kakeru is likable, and the characters are much more realistically proportioned than in many animes. Compare the grotesquely enormous breasts of Jungle De Ikou with the figures in First Loves 2. This factored into my high character design rating.
Whereas First Loves was a coming of age tale with pornographic content and a contrived set up, its sequal gives us a more confident cast of characters in a more believable circumstance. We feel bad for the girls Doda loves and leaves, and feel satisfaction when Kakeru puts him in his place.
The animation is merely OK, but is still an improvement over the first one. There's some decent backgrounds, but nothing spectacular.
Overall, First Loves 2 is superior to the first one, but that isn't saying much. At least this one is watchable, though.
