Saw this great series quite a while ago so I don't remember it much- all I remember that is was a more original high-school-romance series which was very enjoyable. Would like to watch it again someday if I find space in my busy schedule. Last updated Saturday, December 17 2005. | ||||||||

I've just added a few keywords such as yuri and gender bender, but dont be scared off, as this anime is the most well done example ive seen of either. the gender bendering is very comical, and the yuri isnt so bad as its just Fuko falling for Hibiki, who's actually a man anyways. Like my fellow reviewers have said, this is certainly a worthwhile anime, and no, theres no strawberries in it whatsoever. It truly is one of the more touching anime's I've seen, especially near the end. A truly amazing piece of work which, given the same topics, could have given us an anime a hundred times worse

I just love Ba-chan. I found that most of the humor in this title came from this short, older lady. The things she'd do to keep her two perverted male residence from spying on all the cute girls was funny, though the men annoyed me. I often forgot that Hibiki was a man when he was in his woman's guise. And his relationship with his students (in female form of course) was often very moving. I watched this a 2nd time and found it more enjoyable on that viewing. Still, I had a couple of problems. First, I wasn't sold on the sudden, obsessive need of the assistant principle to prove Hibiki is a man. The first time she suspected it and had him sent to the visiting doctor who was giving the students physical exams was fine. But once she got the medical report stating Hibiki was a "she", that should have been it. Instead, she didn't believe it (and to be fair, the report was a lie) and started trying to prove him a male. But then we wouldn't have a way to bring the series to an end then if he doesn't get exposed, or do we? I also wasn't completely sure I bought the ending until I saw it the 2nd time. Then I realized that this was the best possible ending they could have on all levels. You'll have to watch to see what I mean. If you like honorifics, the DVD has them. All are used in the subtitled version and I think they are all used in the English dub version as well. Bottom line: Very funny at times, emotional at times, sweet, touching, and just all around fun with just the right number of episodes.Last updated Monday, March 29 2004. | ||||||||

It's in fact between the Buy and Rent rank, but I decide to give it a buy. The story puts the differences between males and females to an extreme level. On the other hand, it also develops love to a quite interesting zone. Although the crossdressing and two hentai idiots look stupid, the story is warm and in a way enlightening. This is a very fun series, with lots of comedy and unexpected humour. The main female character gives me heart palpitations most of the time, because she is just plain useless. sometimes she falls down so much when she walks or runs, i feel like grabbing her up and giving her a good shake on the shoulders! but anyway.. i would recommed it because it's fun watching the main male character.
