Ghost Sweeper Mikami
This is a very old series that a fansub group has chosen to subtitle and release. Yep, this has the look of a very old series, (ten plus years and it shows,) which comes across as being very simplistic in its anime style and story line. To be honest, it kinda reminds me of that (nasty) Yogi Bear – Hanna Barbara series, but Japanese anime can never be as bad the worst American cartoons! The main character Mikami is very impressive in her skills, and with the assistance of her perverted looser side kick, Tadao, (who is much abused by Mikami!!), this series comes across as being (at best) very lame. I would call it as being very cliché and dated!
In any case, if you are a serious anime-fan, then this is well worth a watch, if only to take a peek at some of the older series that are at the roots that drive the current Japanese anime-trend.
